<p>Read the following text and copy in you notebook.</p><p><b>The children of the rain: the Wayuus</b></p><p><b></b></p><p>It rains so little in the desert of La Guajira that rain is a god for the Wayuus, they call it Juya. "The rain is the father of all things, it maintains them, renews them" say those who live in this enormous sand savanna in the extreme north of Colombia.</p><p>People who know how to read signs like the flight of a dragonfly or the humidity in a dawn without a breeze hopefully announce: "It is rainy time", children and adults run to look for the pots to collect the waters of the sky.</p>
