<p> Es un <b>fenómeno</b> natural caracterizado por la fluctuación de las temperaturas del océano en la parte central y oriental del Pacífico ecuatorial, asociada a cambios en la atmósfera. </p><p>¿Qué sucede en el fenómeno del niño?</p><p><span class="ILfuVd"><span class="hgKElc">En algunas áreas aumentan las precipitaciones y en otras disminuyen, provocando inundaciones y sequías. Con las temperaturas pasa igual, en algunos lugares son más altas, en otras más bajas. Los efectos de este <b>fenómeno</b> suelen ser débiles, pero cada cierto tiempo se vuelven devastadores.</span></span></p><p><span class="ILfuVd"><span class="hgKElc">La <b>Niña</b> ocurre cuando pasa el fenómeno contrario: cuando los alisios son muy fuertes, se refuerza la subida del agua fría profunda en la zona ecuatorial y la temperatura del mar cae por debajo de lo normal. Es por esto que La <b>Niña</b> es considerada la fase fría del fenómeno.<br></span></span></p>
